cristovauI am not sure how much I will get done on this between calls, but it does make me seem busier, so I might as well go for it.
This last weekend was nice, if a bit busy. On Saturday, the family went out to visit the Caruso-Kings as Maya and Kira were celebrating birthday week. It was great because Noah and Nonny got to hang out with the girls and the Mangio boys who have become serious friends. Bess and I also got to talk with Michelle and Melissa which is always great. The day flashed by quickly.
Then on Sunday we visited the Nabbits. We haven’t had much of a chance to see them and it was delightful visiting their house. Ira came along with us which added a level of complexity, but also satisfaction. We had a good geeky time discussing games and anime and life. It also went by really quickly.
I also have been working on our packet inventory. Bess wants to have 300 packets for her PC for Crossover and I am donating 200, so that is a lot of birdseed.
The basement seems to be reasonably sealed now. We should focus on cleaning it up and consider sealing the front and the right side just in case. There is a lot that we will be throwing away. I also have a good bit of yard cleanup to do. Oh joy!
In terms of media, we watched the new animated Babylon 5 special. It was good, but has quite a legacy to live up to. I want more!
Anyway, this is a short entry I guess. Next weekend is a return to Ariath and the Crossover LARP. I am unprepared to fight sword and board, but I am ready to snack.
